Broom and Mop Sale:
Each year in the fall the Vernon Lions Club holds their annual Broom
and Mop Sale. Proceeds from the
sale will go to the Lion Club's local and international
charities.
White Cane Day:
In our efforts to advocate for the blind and visually impaired, we annually
participate in this fundraising
event.
Kid League Baseball Program:
The Vernon Lions Club starts their Kid
League Baseball
Program each Summer/Spring to benefit

United Fund
Breakfast: Each year the
Vernon Lions Club prepares breakfast for the kick-off
of the United Fund.
Vernon Lions Club Flag Program:
The Vernon Lions Club has a Holiday Flag
Program to
generate funds for Lions Club projects and to help Vernon citizens
show patriotism on certain
holidays.
Summer's Last Blast Concert:
The Lions Club proudly sponsors the annual
Summer's Last
Blast Kick-Off Concert.

College Rodeo: The Lions Club proudly
provides the concession stand at the annual
Vernon College Rodeo.

Lions Club Scholarship Program:
Annually the club awards one $500 scholarship
to a deserving graduate of Vernon High School.
Youth Peace Poster Contest:
We take pride in encouraging our youth to participate in the
Lions Club Peace
Poster Contest.
Texas Lions
Camp:
Children with special needs from all over
the state are invited to attend one
of 9 weeks, in which we hope will
become one of their life-long childhood memories. A week
designed for fun, exploration and
challenge.
